In case you haven't noticed, practically everyone on the Toronto Maple Leafs is injured, including Matthew Knies, and now, Oliver Ekman-Larsson.

To be fair, Ekman-Larsson is simply sick and missed practice today. His status on Sunday against the Utah Hockey Club is up in the air.

However, as it pertains to Matthew Knies, he is 100 percent not going to play, and now, the forward situation for the Leafs is looking dire.

At practice today, the team utilized the dreaded four 11 forwards and 7 defenseman lineup.

Teams typically hate doing this and now, the Leafs might be left with no choice.

Maple Leafs lines are cooked

"McMann-Tavares-Marner
Robertson-Holmberg-Nylander
Lorentz-Minten-Grebenkin
Steeves-Dewar-Reaves(suspended)

Rielly-Hakanpaa
McCabe-Tanev
Benoit-Timmins
Myers
Absent: OEL (illness)

Stolarz, Woll

Leafs practicing with only 11 available forwards"

There is a way they can get out of this, however, and that is with Max Domi.

If Domi is able to come back into the lineup in time for Sunday, then there is absolutely nothing for the Leafs to worry about here.

However, if Domi is not back in the lineup, then 11 forwards it is.

The Leafs are still doing extremely well right now despite all of these injuries, which should be music to the ears of Leafs fans.

For instance, they are currently 12-6-2 and have won six of their last seven games.

Only time will tell whether or not the firepower will be enough against the hungry Utah Hockey Club.
