Toronto Maple Leafs forwards Max Pacioretty and Max Domi have both been dealing with some lower-body injuries as of late and it has left the Leafs depleted.

Over the course of the last few weeks, Max Pacioretty and Max Domi have been missing from the lineup, however, the Maple Leafs continue to win games.

As it stands, the team is getting major contributions from players such as Mitch Marner and William Nylander.

Furthermore, the replacements for Max Pacioretty and Max Domi have also been playing extremely well, which has helped matters quite a bit.

Tonight, the Leafs are taking on the struggling Chicago Blackhawks, which should prove to be their easiest matchup in quite some time.

This morning, the Leafs held their customary morning skate, and some familiar faces were back on the ice.

According to Luke Fox of Sportsnet, both Max Pacioretty and Max Domi were on the ice together, which is super encouraging.

Although they probably will not be playing in tonight's game, it is still good to see them getting on the ice and showcasing some improvement here.

The Leafs would love to have all of their players healthy as it would make them that much stronger.

As it stands, the Maple Leafs have a record of 14-7-2 and they have been sensational over the last 10 games, winning eight of those tilts.

Only time will tell whether or not this success is going to end up being sustainable.

If you are a Leafs fan, you cannot help but be excited by the team's performances right now.
