Throughout the early portion of the season, the Toronto Maple Leafs have dealt with numerous injuries and fans are begging Brad Treliving to make some kind of trade.
Overall, there have been a ton of trade rumors involving the Maple Leafs, especially with so many assets coming up from the Marlies.
Two night ago, the Leafs played the Vegas Golden Knights and guys like Nikita Grebenkin and Fraser Minten were fantastic.
Meanwhile, more established players like Nick Robertson have looked pedestrian at best.
It is clear that the Leafs could benefit from some kind of trade, and the fans are excited to see what Treliving can cook up.
In a new report from Elliotte Friedman, it was confirmed that the Maple Leafs are active, and are mostly targeting a center.

As for what kind of center they should go after, well, that remains to be seen.
We're sure some fans out there are salivating over the idea of going out and getting Sidney Crosby, who is having a bad time in Pittsburgh right now.
However, that is completely absurd to think about as it would cost an arm, a leg, and the rest of the Leafs' future draft picks.
Closer to the trade deadline, more and more players will ultimately become available here.
However, it almost feels like a guarantee that Robertson will be one of the players traded away.
He has not lived up to the hype, and fans are starting to get frustrated.
