Tonight and tomorrow, the Toronto Maple Leafs will be playing the Detroit Red Wings and the Montreal Canadiens, which creates an interesting goalie situation.

Overall, the team has been shifting between guys like Joseph Woll and Anthony Stolarz. So far, Stolarz has been a bit better and fans are starting to believe that he should be the starter.

However, Craig Berube does have the final say on who gets to play and who doesn't. It's not going to be the goalies themselves or even the fans who make that choice.

Having said that, today, it was revealed who would play against the Red Wings, and who would get the Canadiens on Saturday.

"Anthony Stolarz is in the home net and is the projected starter against Detroit tonight"

As David Alter reports, the Leafs will be going with Stolarz tonight. From there, they will opt for Woll when they take on the Canadiens. Either way, it seems like smart choices are being made.

It could take a few months before a tried and true starter emerges for this team. Although we're sure Berube is happy to have a competitive goalie room on his hands.

This will make things a lot less stressful on the team as they seek first place in the Atlanta division. Although this is something that will not come easy.
