Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs are going to be playing against their Original Six rival, the Detroit Red Wings.
Recently, the Maple Leafs were able to defeat the Boston Bruins by a score of 4-0. It was a huge win and fans were excited to see the team play with so much vigor.
It was an impressive win especially when you consider how Auston Matthews was out of the lineup. The team put Max Domi on the top line at center, and it ended up working out.
Yesterday, the Leafs were at practice, and based on the lines, it seems as though the team has opted to keep the status quo. They know that this is probably the best course of action.
