On Wednesday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs will be taking on the Las Vegas Golden Knights in what should be a fantastic matchup.

There are numerous injuries on the team right now which is forcing the club to make various changes to the lineup.

For instance, Auston Matthews is out, as is David Kampf, Max Pacioretty, and now, Ryan Reaves.

Last week, Alex Steeves was called up to the team on an emergency basis, but now, they actually do need him.

Moreover, Fraser Minten was called up today, which was a huge move for the team and fans were extremely excited about this prospect.

Toronto Maple Leafs lineup tinkering

At practice today, the team made some changes to the forward lines that are incredibly exciting.

For instance, Fraser Minten was placed on the third line between Nick Robertson and Pontus Holmberg. Meanwhile, Alex Steeves is now on the fourth line.

"McMann-Tavares-Marner
Knies-Domi-Nylander
Robertson-Minten-Holmberg

Rielly-Hakanpaa
McCabe-Tanev
Ekman-Larsson-Timmins

Stolarz

It should also be noted that John Tavares has been placed on the top line, with Max Domi being demoted to the second line.

These are some interesting changes, and it will be interesting to see if they work out for the better. The team his on a run so Craig Berube won't want to change too much. But at the same time, the Leafs do have a ton of firepower that can make teams frustrated.

The Leafs enter their game against Vegas having won five of their last six matches, while also notching a record of 11-6-2.
