With Auston Matthews currently out of the lineup due to an injury, Marner has had to pick up some of the slack. While this isn't always easy, he has delivered.
At this stage, fans are very excited for what is going to come this season. Especially with the team winning four of its last five.
Having said all of that, Marner is also out here living his life and looking for some interesting new brand partnerships. After all, he is a marketable player and the NHL certainly loves that.
In fact, Marner is sure to turn heads with this new venture which can be seen below. The Leafs superstar has partnered up with PSD Underwear, a brand that already works with a ton of athletes.
It remains to be seen how much promotion Marner will do for the brand, although it is a smart deal for him to make. After all, players are always looking to increase their wealth.
This announcement came not long after another venture within the Maple Leafs orbit, although this time from Max Domi.
Domi now has a new podcast called "In Range" where he is educating young athletes about Type 1 Diabetes and how to navigate the disease.
Needless to say, the young stars on the Toronto Maple Leafs are keeping themselves busy, which is pretty cool to see.
While hockey is certainly important, it is good to be engaging in hobbies and ventures outside of the rink. It is very clear that they are on the right track right now.
This Saturday, the Maple Leafs will be back in action, this time against the Edmonton Oilers, who recently got Connor McDavid back.
In fact, McDavid just notched his 1000th point, and he will be motivated for more.
