Darren Dreger delivers devastating update on Max Pacioretty's leg injury
Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Pacioretty injured himself pretty badly on Saturday during a game against the Montreal Canadiens.
The veteran forward has some sort of leg injury, and fans have been worried about the extent of it and whether or not something truly awful is going to come of this.
There have been multiple reports about just how bad the injury is. Some of these reports have been conflicting in nature, with some fans not knowing what to think.
However, this morning, while on TSN 1050, insider Darren Dreger made some comments that will most definitely terrify Leafs fans. Essentially, the injury looks pretty damn bad right now.

For now, the diagnosis and the recovery timeline is unknown. But based on what Dreger had to say, it seems as though it could actually be multiple weeks or maybe even months.
This is news that Leafs fans did not want to hear, especially with the vibes so high following a three-game winning streak.
The team knocked off the Boston Bruins, the Detroit Red Wings, and the Montreal Canadiens during that span. These are three Original Six teams that have always been huge rivals for the franchise. For now, however, the team will simply have to make do with their current personnel.
